What to Do If You Need to Sell Your House Fast
We have a house for short sale but the house market is so bad now, the asking price is 1,300,000,how long do you think it will remain unsold? will the house sell faster if we do a short sale.
We really can not afford 6% for our agent. We are in N.C. and the houses go fast. I would like to hear from an experienced person how you go about selling your house on your own.
If possible I would like to email back and forth with some questions.
We need to close on the loan by Feb. 1st. We are selling our house and paying off our debt with the proceeds from our sale. Will this raise our score? Would it be better to pay off credit cards (we have two with $1400 balance each. Or pay off two bank loans (one for a car and one for a consolidation loan)?
I’ve had my house for sale for some time now and am getting very aggravated that it is not selling. I am ready to walk away but don’t want to ruin my credit of course. I am not finacially desperate here, I just need more room for my family. Please help!!!

We found a real estate agent who charges 5% commission to sell our home (2% for herself, 3% for buyer’s agent). Is that a good deal? She really knows the area, especially the townhouse community in which we live, so we figure that it’s better to have a real estate agent who knows the market and can get our house sold fast rather than trying to find someone else who charges less commission.

I really would like to sell my house fast and I think selling it to an online company may be the only way to do that. My house has been on the market for quite some time now, and we really would like to be moved before Christmas and time is running out! Can anyone help?
